Meet Dr. Sharlene Demehri

Sharlene was born and raised in southern Maryland and attended the University of Maryland where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then pursued her dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she earned the General Practice Directors Award, the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Implant Student Award. After earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), Sharlene completed a residency in Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University where she served as the Chief Resident.  

Professionally, Dr. Demehri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is active in organized dentistry through the American Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology.  In addition, Dr. Demehri has a heart for service and first met Drs. Ryan and Tiffany Harris on the Dominican Dental Mission Project where they all continue to serve.

Dr. Demehri enjoys spending time with her family, especially her puppy “Bonnie”. She loves to travel, cook, and go skiing! Dr. Demehri looks forward to providing excellent care and establishing meaningful professional relationships with the patients and practices we are all privileged to serve!
